The record collection of his Mom drew Tamino into music. The Beatles, Serge Gainsbourg, Tom Waits: a long list – and his first piano lessons followed soon.
Already in his teens, the Belgium-raised Tamino got into the classic works of Bach, Erik Satie, and Rachmaninov. Aged 14 he played his first concerts. Until when during a trip to his father in Egypt, he came across an old family guitar, an acquaintance that changed his life. Nowadays Tamino creates sensitive indie rock, always close to the realm of classical composition. Tamino's falsetto voice is roaming octaves while quarter tones, typically used in Arabic music, occasionally break way into his vocals.
