Konni Kass

Singer songwriter Konni Kass from Faeroe Islands, now based in Copenhagen, is about to enthrall the musical world. With a forceful voice, guitar driven ballad-like sounds or delving into louder, pop realms like the smash hit „Sounds“.

Kass' melodies reveal a passion for strong soul voices but also for complex jazz arrangements. With only a debut to her name, she already sounds promising. On stage she strips it down to a minimalistic version of the bare essentials. After the chorus she often takes over the saxophone herself. Maybe a second Candy Dulfer is born? Besides she's studying medicine – quite a multi-talent. A solid education isn't bad at all as long as there's enough time for music, otherwise it would be a real shame.
