Anna Aaron

Indie, Pop /
Switzerland

The journey starts in 2007: Anna Aaron releases the EP “I’ll Dry Your Tears Little Murderer”, recorded in her living-room together with friends. Her acoustic folk style caught the attention of Sophie Hunger, who signs the 22-year-old singer and guitarist to her own label. The debut album “Dogs In Spirit” is released in 2010.

The ensuing cooperation with the French jazz trumpeter Erik Truffaz proves to be rather important for Anna Aaron. She contributes to three tracks on his album “El Tiempo de la Revolución”, which is released in 2012 on the Blue Note label. She records her second album “Neuro” in 2014 with the help of top producers in England. Together with David Kosten, who produced Bat For Lashes, Aaron develops a new, futuristic style significantly influenced by synthie pop. Now, four years later, this fantastic singer from Switzerland has finally released something new. The single “Why Not” is a taste of her third album, scheduled to be released in 2019.
