Huw Stephens started his career on the radio when he was 17, becoming the youngest ever presenter of the world's largest youth radio network, BBC Radio 1.
Huw currently curates nine hours of new music on Radio 1 every week, and the stages of many major festivals in Britain, like Reading, Leeds, Glastonbury, and Latitude which were under his curatorship. He presents on the BBC World Service, and in Welsh, his first language, and he's broadcast live from SXSW and Eurosonic. He has been spinning records as a DJ at many festival stages and curates the Lake Stage at Latitude, an early showcase for The xx, The 1975 and Rag n Bone Man among more.
He curates a monthly live music night in London and recently co-founded the music supervision company Land of Sound.
